Description

Gable House is a late 17th-century house located in the Church End area of Priors Hardwick. Constructed of coursed ironstone, it has a tile roof with a coped gable parapet on the right side, along with stone ridge and end stacks. The house follows an L-shaped plan, with a wing extending to the rear on the right. It is two storeys high with an attic, presenting a two-window front. The cross gable on the left side features 20th-century barge boards. A part-glazed, flush six-panelled door is set under a wooden lintel. The ground floor contains a four-light, a three-light, and a two-light ovolo-moulded mullioned window to the left, and a three-light chamfered mullioned window to the right. Each window is accompanied by a hood mould. The first floor presents a three-light, 20th-century leaded casement on the right side. The interior remains uninspected.
