Description

Jesamine Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century, with later alterations. It is constructed of coursed ironstone rubble and features a steeply pitched roof covered with 20th-century tiles. The gables are stone-coped and have moulded kneelers, while there are brick stacks at each end. The cottage has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high, with a two-window range. The approximately central entrance includes a four-panelled door with a wooden lintel and a 20th-century lattice porch. On either side of the entrance are three-light casement windows, also with wooden lintels, and there are two similar windows on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected.
