Description
Corner Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It is built of squared coursed ironstone and features a steeply pitched roof covered with 20th-century tiles. The house has a brick stack at one end and a two-unit plan across two storeys.
The front has a two-window range, with the entrance on the left featuring a renewed plank door beneath a wood lintel. On the ground floor, there are two three-light stone mullioned windows, each with hood moulds and label stops. The first floor has two similar windows. The windows have opening metal casements and wrought-iron casement fasteners. The cottage also has a stone plinth and a tie-bar on the left side. The interior has not been inspected.
