Description
Copperbeach Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed of regular coursed ironstone rubble and features a steeply pitched 20th-century tile roof with a brick ridge stack. The building has a two-unit plan and is a single storey plus attic, with a two-window range.
On the ground floor, there are two three-light wood mullioned windows with opening casements. The attic also has two similar windows, which are fitted with wrought iron casement fasteners. All windows are adorned with stop-chamfered wooden lintels and wrought iron springs. The entrance is located at the rear, where several windows also have wrought iron casement fasteners.
Inside, the cottage features stop-chamfered beams and a stop-chamfered bressumer above the fireplace.
