Description

The building is a village hall that was originally a house, with a datestone indicating it was built in 1692 by RCJB. A porch was added in 1927. The structure is made of regular coursed ironstone rubble and features a steeply pitched stone slate roof laid to diminishing courses. There is a moulded stone stack on the left and stone copings along the edges. The building has a two-unit plan and is a single storey with an attic. A central stone porch is flanked by pairs of tall wooden casement windows, each with stone flat arches. There are also single gabled roof dormers. The interior has not been inspected.
