Description
No. 2 Launton Road is a shop that has been converted into a house, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. The building features rendered walls and a Welsh-slate roof with a brick chimney stack. It has a single-unit trapezoidal plan situated on a corner site and stands two storeys tall. The front façade has two windows; a large 6-pane window with an arched head is positioned to the left, while the entrance is located at the extreme right. On the first floor, there are two 12-pane sash windows. The wall on the right side, which angles towards London Road, includes a large 9-pane window and a round-headed sash window with Gothick glazing bars on the first floor. The roof is hipped to the right and features a lateral stack at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
