Description

No. 23 Causeway is a shop and dwelling dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, with a mid to late 19th-century shop front. The building has rendered walls and a Welsh-slate roof. It features a two-unit plan and stands three storeys tall. The two-window front includes 12-pane sash windows on the second floor and later horned 4-pane sash windows on the first floor. The shop front has a moulded cornice, and the right window includes glazing bars. There is a small segmental-arched entrance at the extreme right. The shallow-pitched roof has a stack located to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
