Description
No. 10 Causeway is a shop and dwelling dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble, partly rendered, and features an old plain-tile roof with a brick ridge stack. The building has a three-unit plan with an adjoining cart entrance and a rear wing, and it stands two storeys tall. The front, which is rendered, has three windows, with renewed cross windows on the first floor and similar but shorter windows below, except for bay 5, which has an inserted shop front. The adjoining cart-entry bay on the right has large double doors, and the roof of the main range extends over its loft. The rubble rear wing contains casements and a loft door. The interior has not been inspected.
