Description

The Sweet Shop is a house and shop located on The Street in Benenden, dating from around 1830, with alterations made in the late 19th century. The building is constructed of wood, designed to mimic masonry, and features a hipped tiled roof. It has two storeys and two windows. The mid-19th century sash windows have six panes, horns, and moulded architraves. A central projecting gabled porch is adorned with carved bargeboards, while a later 19th century projecting shopfront is situated on the right side.
