Description
The Kitty Fisher is a house that was later used as a public house and converted back to residential use in 2016. It dates from the 17th century and was refronted in the mid-19th century. The building is timber framed with a three-bay lobby entrance, rendered on the ground floor and tile hung on the first floor. It features a half-hipped tiled roof with an off-centre chimneystack. The house has two storeys and three windows, primarily three-light casements, with a three-light canted bay on the right side of the ground floor. There are two doors; the left door has a small flat wooden weatherhood supported by restored brackets. Inside, there is an inglenook fireplace with wooden seats and two gable-headed salt niches. The spine beam has a lamb's tongue stop in the centre and a run-out stop on the right-hand side.
