Description

This is a late 18th-century cottage row, originally comprising six cottages. The cottages are constructed of red brick with grey headers laid in an alternating pattern, and have a plain tiled mansard roof. The building features three brick chimney stacks. It is two storeys high with an attic level, displaying a five-window façade. Two flat-roofed dormers contain leaded windows. Five 19th-century tripartite sash windows are present, one incorporating leaded lights; there are also five cambered tripartite 19th-century metal-framed casement windows. The cottages have three gabled wooden weather porches, some of which are surrounded by trelliswork.
