Description
This is a row of three cottages located at 14-18 Malt Mill Lane, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. The cottages are constructed of brick and feature a brick string course and a dentil cornice. They have an old tile roof and brick ridge chimneys, with a double-depth plan. The buildings are two stories high and have a three-window range. The entrances are through plank doors, and the windows are wood and iron casements with glazing bars. Cottages 16 and 18 have late 19th-century sixteen-pane sash windows on the ground floor. The doors and ground floor windows are set under segmental brick arches, while the first floor has painted wood lintels. The rear of the cottages has some late 20th-century alterations and additions. The interior has not been inspected.
