Description
6 and 8 Malt Mill Lane is a house dating from the late 17th century. It is timber framed with plaster infill and features a plaster eaves cove. The roof is tiled, and there is no visible chimney. The building has an L-plan shape and is two storeys high with a two-window range. The entrance to No. 6 is accessed through an inside passage from No. 10 Malt Mill Lane. The windows are late 20th century cross windows with leaded lights, and there is a small late 20th century window on each floor on the right side. The gable ends display exposed framing, and there is some exposed framing at the rear as well. The rear wing is partly constructed of brick. The entrance to No. 8 features a plank door. The interior has not been inspected.
