Description
Foxearth Cottage is a house dating from around 1700. It is timber framed and weather boarded, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and a garret, featuring a gambrel roof and a central moulded chimney stack. On the first floor, there are two three-light wooden casement windows, while the ground floor has three three-light wooden casement windows and a plank and stud door to the right, which is sheltered by a flat hood supported on brackets. There is also a garret casement window on the return elevations. At the rear, there are lower two-storey extensions that are half-hipped and have wooden casements. Inside, the light scantling frame is visible.
