Description

Longford House is a house dating from around 1600. It is timber-framed and weatherboarded, topped with a tiled gabled roof. The building has two storeys and garrets, featuring a jettied end that faces the street. The front has two windows, which are glazing bar sashes, along with one window in the gable. There is a small bay window on the right side of the ground floor and a wide casement window to the left. The entrance is marked by a half-glazed door in the center. Inside, there is substantial evidence of timber-framing.
