Description

The charnel house, located at the north-west corner of the churchyard, dates from the mid-19th century. It is constructed from dressed stone and features a plain tiled roof with a louvred hood at the ridge. The building has triple lancets at each end, which are surrounded by dressed stone. This charnel house was originally used for the storage of bodies recovered from the River Thames.
