Description

This is a barn located 10 yards north of Branden, dating from the mid-16th century. It features a timber-framed structure with curved wind-bracing. The ground floor is weather-boarded, while the first floor is weather-boarded on the south side and has plaster infilling on the north, east, and west sides. The barn has catslide outshuts to the north and west, with the west side featuring half-height double doors that mirror those on the east side. Inside, the barn consists of three bays with jowled posts and braces. The roof is a trussed side-purlin design, also with wind-braces.
