Description
Plummer's Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 16th century, with 19th-century cladding and additions. It is constructed from timber framing and weatherboarding, topped with a hipped plain tiled roof. A very large ribbed brick stack with an oversailing cornice is located off-centre to the left on the ridge. The building features an early baffle entry plan and stands two storeys high, with an almost regular four-window front. The windows are 19th-century glazing bar sashes, which have half-size top blades set in moulded surrounds. To the left of centre, there is a half-glazed door with a flat hood above it. At the rear, there is a two-storey 19th-century wing with catslide extensions forming an 'L' shape. Inside, there is much evidence of the original timber framing.
