Description
This is a house dating to the 16th century, although it was re-clad in the 19th century. It is timber-framed, built on a rendered plinth, and now has weatherboard cladding. The roof is tiled, hipped on the right side, and features a tall 19th-century brick ridge stack on the left. The front has an irregular arrangement of three windows on each of the first and ground floors. The windows are a mixture of 19th-century wood frames with iron and lead lattice panes. A boarded and ribbed door is located to the right of the centre of the facade. A tile-hung, gabled wing that projects to the rear has a catslide roof in the angle of an L-shape. The interior retains significant timber-frame elements.
