Description

A house, dating from around 1600 and altered in the early 19th century. The house is timber framed and weather-boarded, with some exposed timber framing to the right return, where the infill is plaster. It has a plain tiled roof and sits on a sandstone base. The building follows a lobby entry plan with a projecting cross-wing. The right-hand gable projects and has a slight jetty to the first floor and a moulded bargeboard. A stack is located towards the centre of the right-hand side. There are three three-light wooden casement windows on the first floor, and one two-light casement to the centre right. On the ground floor, there are two three-light wooden casement windows, and one two-light casement to the right in an outshot. A half-glazed and panelled door is central to the right, set within a flat-roofed porch. A large panelled frame is exposed to the right return, and a catslide out-shot extends to the rear.
