Description

Ockley Farmhouse is a house dating from the 18th century or earlier. It is timber-framed and weather-boarded, with a plain tiled roof. Part of the ground floor is constructed of red brick. The house is two storeys high, with a half-hipped roof to the right, and a stack projecting forward of the ridge. It features a single light window on the first floor, and four two-light wooden casement windows. The ground floor has three wooden casement windows, with a boarded door to the left, set within an outshot. An end right bay, with a red brick base, is a later addition. The building was originally, or at some point, adapted for non-domestic use.
