Description
Stone Court Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 17th century or earlier. It is timber framed and weather-boarded, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and a garret, resting on a partially rendered brick base. It features a half-hipped roof with chimney stacks located to the centre right, projecting forward of the ridge-line, as well as at both ends. On the first floor, there are three wooden casement windows, each with three lights, while the ground floor has two three-light casements and a central four-light window. To the left, there are half doors with large strap hinges, sheltered by a flat hood, and a raking porch is attached to the half-hipped rear wing on the left return.
