Description
Edwinstree is a house that dates from the 17th century or earlier. It features a timber frame with roughcast and the middle section is weatherboarded. The building has a steep old red tile roof that is half-hipped at the south end. It is a long, narrow structure with one and a half storeys, facing west. The front is divided into three parts, stepping down towards the south. There are two gabled dormers at the eaves, each with two-light casement windows. On the ground floor, there are four windows: three are three-light casements and one is a fixed window with six panes. A lean-to glazed porch leads to a low door. The house has a central chimney and a smaller chimney located slightly to the south.
