Description
The Adam and Eve Public House is a building that originated as a house, dating from the 17th century or earlier, with alterations made in the 18th century and a south crosswing added in the 19th or 20th century. The main range features a timber frame that is roughcast and has a steep old red tile roof. It is one and a half storeys high and includes two lean-to roofed dormers at the eaves. There is an internal gable chimney located at the north end. At the rear, there is a lean-to extension made of red brick and slate. The large projecting crosswing at the south is two storeys tall, with a half-timbered gable top and three-light mullioned and transomed windows on both the east and west ends.
