Description
Rose Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century. It has a timber frame that is plastered with panelled pargetting, and the ground floor at the western end is weatherboarded. The house features a slate roof and is a two-unit, picturesque small house that faces north, with an internal gable chimney at the eastern end. The north side has a recessed plank door with a flat hood above it, extending over a 2-light cast iron casement window to the left. There is a similar window above and another on the ground floor in the western room. On the western gable, there is a 3-light wooden casement window on the first floor and a 2-light window below.
