Description
Hopkins Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 17th century or earlier. It is constructed with a timber frame and is covered in white weatherboarding, with red brick flanks. The roof is made of peg tiles, gabled at the west end and half hipped at the east end, featuring an off-centre ridgeline rectangular stack. The building has two storeys and includes a single-storey porch lean-to on the north elevation, which is made up of two sections. The windows are a mix of 19th-century and 20th-century casements. Inside, there are stop-chamfered spine beams, and there is evidence that the eaves line was raised at the west end.
