Description

The Parsonage Farmhouse is an early 19th-century house. It is timber-framed and rendered with a hipped slate roof. The house is of two storeys with attics, and has a near-square plan. Notable features include corner pilaster strips and wide eaves overhang. The east front has three bays of double-hung sash windows with small panes and moulded surrounds. A central open pedimented doorcase incorporating panelled pilasters provides access to the original six-panel door. Gault brick stacks are visible on the ridgeline of each side. The south face of the roof includes two 20th-century flat dormers, and there are 20th-century extensions to the rear.
