Description

Thatched Cottage is a 17th or 18th century cottage located on the south side of The Street in High Easter. It is timber framed with white weatherboarding and features a thatched half-hipped roof. The cottage has one storey with attics and includes a 20th century painted brick rear extension with a gabled peg tile roof. There is a small ridgeline stack at the center and 19th century metal small pane casement windows. The east elevation has a canted bay window with an adjoining lean-to porch hood, while the west end has a slated lean-to. Inside, there are some old internal doors and late timber framing.
