Description
Randalls is a house dating from the early 17th century. It is timber framed and plastered, topped with a hipped peg tile roof. This typical box frame house features straight internal bracing and stands two storeys high. It has an off-centre ridgeline stack with three diagonal shafts on a moulded brick base, which includes gabled offsets at the corners. The front of the house has an off-centre gabled peg tile roof and a 20th-century porch positioned in a baffle entry location. There are two bay windows on the front, each with lean-to peg tile roofs. All the windows are 20th-century plain casements set in old oak surrounds. Inside, the inglenook has slightly cambered and chamfered mantel beams.
