Description

School View and Sa Pheonar is a house and cottage dating from the 17th century, and possibly earlier. It features a timber frame with plaster and a hipped peg tile roof. The building is two storeys tall and has an 'L' plan form with an off-centre ridgeline stack. The front of the building includes 19th-century three-light casement windows with central horizontal glazing bars. School View has an early 19th-century door surround that is adorned with thin pilaster strips and console brackets supporting a flat hood. Internally, the structure is subdivided into two units but retains jowled posts and two-storey framing.
