Description
The Old Schoolhouse is a building originally constructed as a schoolhouse and now divided into two cottages. It dates from the 17th century and features a timber frame that is encased in 19th-century brick. The roof is covered with plain tiles and has end stacks. The building has two storeys with three casement windows on each floor. There are two doors, one bay in from either end; the right-hand door is located under a tiled gable porch supported by brick piers, while the left-hand door is set in a close weatherboard porch with a pent roof. At the rear, there is a large stack and 19th-century casement windows, along with a single-storey addition to the left.
