Description
Catbells is a possibly 16th century building that was formerly two cottages, with the north-west end serving as the local schoolmaster's house in the 19th century. The structure has two storeys and features one window bay with a four-light casement window that projects forward at the south-east end, topped with a half hipped gable. The exterior is tile hung, with brickwork on the north-west side. There are two additional window bays, one with a three-light casement and another with a one-light casement. The roof is tiled and includes a chimney breast. The entrance has a boarded door with a tiled hood supported by brackets. Inside, there is exposed oaken timbering.
