Description

Beals Green Farmhouse is a 16th-century house located on the north side of Heartenoak Road in Hawkhurst. The building features a timber frame and is tile hung, with weatherboarding on the return elevations. It has a plain tiled roof and stands two storeys high, with a hipped cross-wing to the left. There are stacks to the right and a projecting, offset stack at the end left. Each floor of the cross-wing has a three-light wooden casement window, which is flush with the main range, while the main range has glazing bar sash windows on each floor to the right. The central entrance features a panelled door with a glazed top, set within a flat-roofed porch.
