Description

Knight's Hole is a 16th-century house located on the north side of Cherry Gardens Lane in Goudhurst. It features a timber frame and is weather-boarded with a plain tiled roof. The building has a lobby entry plan, which suggests it may have originated as a hall house. It stands two storeys tall with a hipped roof and gablets, and has a cluster of stacks on the centre left. On each floor, there are two three-light wooden casements and a central single light casement. A rib and stud door is positioned to the centre left within a large hipped porch, and there are trench doors on the return elevation.
