Description
Combourne Farmhouse is a house dating from the 16th century, with extensions and alterations made in the 18th century. It features a timber-framed structure that is tile hung on the upper floors and has a rendered ground floor. The return and rear elevations are weatherboarded, and the building has plain tiled roofs. The farmhouse stands two storeys high on a plinth, with a half-hipped and swept roof, and a moulded stack cluster located to the centre right.
On the first floor, there are two glazing bar sash windows, while the ground floor includes paired top-hung casements, a canted bay with sashes, and a single sash window to the right. A panelled door is situated to the centre right, set within an arched doorway that is part of a gabled porch. The left return features a half-glazed door with a flat hood supported by brackets. At the rear, there is a half-hipped wing. Inside, small panelled framed partitions are exposed, showcasing the building's historical features.
