Description
Mill Cottage is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house. It dates back to the 17th century, with 19th-century cladding added later. The building features a timber frame that is rendered on the ground floor, while the first floor is weather-boarded. The roof is plain tiled and has a half-hipped design on the left side with an oversailing hip. There is a tall brick ridge stack located to the right of the center and another brick stack with a projecting breast at the right end of the building. Mill Cottage is two storeys high with garrets and has an irregular arrangement of windows, with three on the first floor and three on the ground floor. The central window on the ground floor is set in a projecting lean-to porch, which has a boarded door on its right side.
