Description

This is a former farmhouse, now divided into three cottages. It largely dates to the late 16th century, with an 18th-century wing added that projects to the right. The building is timber-framed and has a ground floor of red and blue brick, a first floor clad in tile hanging, and a plain tiled half-hipped roof to the main wing. A lower-hipped wing is set to the right.

The main wing (The Corner House) has two storeys, featuring a tall stack positioned off-centre to the front and one window on the ground floor and one window on the re-entrant flank of the wing. The 18th-century wing has a mixture of 19th and 20th-century casement and sash windows on its ground floor. An entrance is located in the re-entrant flank of the main wing; it has a 19th-century gabled trellised porch to the left of centre. Another entrance on the lean-to to April Cottage has a cambered doorcase.
