This building, located adjacent to Weekes Bakery and formerly known as A L Remnant, tobacconist, is a house and shop dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of red and blue brick, featuring tile hanging on the first floor, while the rear elevation is clad with paired tile hanging and weatherboarding. The building has a slate roof and stands two storeys high with a central stack. On the first floor, there are two leaded wooden casements, and on the ground floor, there is a multi-pane window to the left and a plate glass canted bay with top lights to the right. The doors, which are four panels each, are located at both ends of the building and have flat hoods supported by brackets.
