Description
Stone Rock is a house dating from the early 19th century, with an extension added in the mid-19th century. It is built of ashlar stone with a slate roof. The main building consists of two parallel ranges. It has two storeys and a basement, featuring a plinth and a projecting band across the façade. The roof is hipped, with overhanging eaves and a chimney stack positioned centrally to the right. The first floor has three glazing bar sash windows, while the ground floor has two. All windows have raised stone surrounds, and two windows are present in the basement. A raised stone-based, original canted bay window is located on the left side, incorporating a two-panel door with a semi-circular fanlight at the end, approached by a flight of four steps. A blocked doorway is present to the centre left. A two-storey and garret rear wing has a bargeboarded gable and a projecting band that continues across its facade.
