Description
Forest House is a house built in the early 19th century. It features an ashlar stone plinth with painted plain render above and a slate roof. The building is three windows wide and has an L-shaped bay extension on the left. It is two rooms deep and has two storeys plus attics. The windows are sash style, and the front door, which is slightly off centre to the right, has six panels—four fielded and two flush. Above the door is a plain semi-circular fanlight with a moulded surround.
To the left, there is a single-bay extension with a double sash window on the ground floor and a single sash window on the first floor. The right wing wall steps down and features a boarded door. The roof is hipped and has two gabled dormers with four-pane sash windows. There are two chimneys on each end wall. The garden front includes two original bow windows on the ground floor, with a lattice porch situated between them.
