Description

Northgrove Cottages is a row of four cottages dating from the early 19th century. The cottages are constructed of red and blue chequered brick in a rat-trap bond, with a slate roof. They are two storeys high, with a hipped roof and chimney stacks on the left and right sides. The windows are regularly spaced, featuring four horizontally sliding glazing bar sashes on each floor. Those on the ground floor have segmental heads, and the central two windows also have louvred shutters. There are half-glazed doors with segmental heads to the left, right, and a pair in the centre.
