Description

GOUDHURST SWAN LANE TQ 73 NW (north side) 5/271 Swan Farmhouse II House. C16, restored mid C20. Timber framed and exposed with plaster infill on painted brick ground floor. Plain tiled roof. Lobby entry range with cross- wing. Two storeys and garret, with half hipped roof and projecting half-hipped cross-wing to left, with stacks to central right and to left, on cross-wing. Blocked mullioned lights to cross-wing garret (as also to rear elevation), with mullioned and transomed casement to 1st floor, 2 three light casements to main range 1st floor with central mullioned window, partly blocked. Mullioned and transomed casement and 2 three casements on gorund floor and boarded door to centre right (in stack bay). Outshots and hipped wing projecting from left return, partly framed, part of painted brick and weather board. Rear extensions largely C20.
