Description
Lollards is a house dating from the 15th century, with an extension from the 18th century. It features a timber-framed structure that is partly exposed, with plaster infill, and the ground floor is tile hung on a rendered surface. The roof is plain tiled. The main range is two storeys high with a half-hipped roof and a stack located to the left and at the rear right. There is a jettied wing that projects to the left, which has a steeply pitched hipped roof with a gablet and a jetty supported by brackets.
On the first floor, there are five wooden casement windows, while the main range has two wooden casements and a boarded door located in the flank of a pentice porch. To the right, there is a 20th-century gabled extension with a casement window. The ground floor of the jettied left-hand wing features a five-light mullioned window, with blocked upper sidelights. Inside, the 15th-century range is noted for having "Lolland Creed" painted on the walls and is reputed to have served as a meeting house for Lollard dissenters.
