Description
Burham Court is a house dating from the 16th century, with additions from the 19th century. It features a mix of red and blue brick, and the first floor of the south wing is covered with timber framing and plaster. The building has plain tiled roofs, with a central ridge stack on the south side and an end stack on the west. It is designed in an L-shape and has two storeys. The south wing has two windows, while the west wing also has two windows, with those on the right canted out to connect with a 19th-century two-storey block that has a hipped roof. The entrance is located in the west wing at the angle of the blocks and features a half-glazed door. Inside, there is substantial evidence of timber framing.
