Description
Snodland Station is a railway station built in 1856 for the South Eastern Railway. It is constructed of red brick with yellow brick dressings and features a Welsh slate roof. The building is rectangular, consisting of two storeys with public rooms on the ground floor and a stationmaster's flat above. The façade has four windows, with the ground floor windows being arched 12-pane sashes set back in arches with keyed heads. Yellow brick quoins are present, along with a band at the first floor. Above, there are four nine-pane sash windows. The station has deep eaves supported by brackets and a hipped roof with brick stacks. There are single-storey extensions at either end, each with panelled doors. The platform front mirrors the main building, featuring a valanced canopy over the ground floor and a painted upper floor. A panelled screen wall flanks the platform on both sides.
