Description

No. 74 Holborough Road is a house that dates from around 1780. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tiled hipped roof. The building has two storeys and two windows on the front, which are glazing bar sashes set in open boxes beneath gauged segmental heads on the ground floor. There is a central panelled door that is framed by a wooden architrave surround, topped with an arched fanlight that has a wreathed and radiating design. This house has been added to an earlier block to the right, which is No. 72, and it replaces part of that structure.
