Description

No. 78 is a house located on Main Street, dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a pantiled roof. The building stands two storeys high and has a symmetrical elevation with three bays. The entrance consists of a 20th-century glazed door, which is flanked by sash windows that have glazing bars and sills, all set beneath segmental brick arches. On the first floor, there are three unequal 9-pane sash windows, also under segmental brick arches. The house has end stacks and plain close verges.
