Description

Lime Tree House is a house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is built of red brick, which was formerly colour-washed, and has a pantiled roof. The left gable wall features some reused ashlar and coursed rubble. The house is two storeys high and has a symmetrical elevation with three bays. The central door is made up of four panels and has an overlight, set within a pilastered doorcase that includes brackets supporting a projecting hood with an ornate valance. The windows are 16-pane sashes with sills, positioned under segmental brick arches. On the first floor, there are three similar sashes. The roof has plain close verges and end stacks.
