Description
This is a house located at 94 Main Street, built in the mid-18th century. It features orange brick and a pantiled roof. The original structure consists of two storeys and three bays, arranged symmetrically, with a parallel rear range. There is a slightly later two-storey, single bay extension to the right, which is supported by coursed stone rubble footings.
The front door has six raised and fielded panels and an overlight with glazing bars, set within a pilastered doorcase that includes decorative paterae. On either side of the door are sash windows with sills and glazing bars, all positioned under flat brick arches. There is a similar sash window at the far right. A first-floor band runs across the original three bays, which also feature four sash windows with sills under flat gauged brick arches. The house is topped with a dentilled brick eaves cornice and has end and axial stacks, with tumbled-in brick at the plain close verges.
