Description

No. 37 is a house located on South Street in Manningtree, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a hipped grey slate roof, with red brick chimney stacks on both the right and left sides. The building has a dentilled eaves cornice and a central band. It includes a three-window range of small paned vertically sliding sash windows, which are topped with gauged plastered arches. The central entrance consists of a four-panel, two-light door, flanked by fluted pilasters, and is adorned with a moulded frieze featuring a patera and a flat canopy.
